Ucima is once again taking part in Propak Vietnam, the annual appointment with the Vietnamese processing and packaging market. This year the association has organised a collective of six companies that will showcase the latest additions to their product ranges: Agriflex, FBR-ELPO, Galdi, ICA, IMA and PND Costruzioni Meccaniche.
The show will be held from Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 April in the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center.
Vietnam is a growing market and an area of great interest for the global packaging machinery and food processing industry. Italy is the third largest packaging machinery exporter to the country after China and Germany.
Vietnam’s trade relations with Europe, and with Italy in particular, have intensified in recent years. The country is now Italy’s leading trade partner in the ASEAN region, with the European Free Trade Agreement expected to further strengthen trade relations. To access the European market, Vietnamese exports must comply with European quality standards, forcing producers to modernise their production processes by adopting high-quality technologies and machinery, such as those made in Italy.
