Italy will be the best represented country at this major industry show held in Dusseldorf Ucima will launch its new international promotion campaign entitled We make packaging.
The Italian packaging technology producers are preparing to return to Interpack, one of the most important international exhibitions for the packaging and processing industry last held in 2017. The world has changed enormously in the intervening six years and the Italian packaging machinery manufacturers have responded by developing some of the most important innovations in the industry. During this period, the packaging industry has developed its own specific solutions in the fields of Industry 4.0, IoT and digitalisation, it has overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic, it has adapted to new sustainability requirements and it has rolled out a new approach to customer care and related services. More than 400 Italian exhibitors will be present in the Dusseldorf exhibition centre, making it the show’s largest foreign contingent (in all, more than 1,000 exhibitors will be taking part). The Italian brands will occupy a total exhibition space of more than 40,000 square metres spread out across the various halls in the exhibition centre.
Ucima will naturally be present to promote its entire range of services (Hall 11, stand B19) alongside two other ambassadors of the Italian packaging industry: Kairòs Media Group, with its publications Italia Imballaggio, Pack Media and Pack Book, and IpackIma 2025. Ucima will also be joined by its partner association Amaplast, which represents Italian plastics and rubber machinery manufacturers.
This strategic presence will also serve to launch Ucima’s new brand for international promotion of the sector: We make packaging. The Association has chosen Interpack to inaugurate this campaign devoted specifically to communicating, disseminating and promoting Italian packaging technology excellence in the international arena. We make packaging will be the theme of the networking evening scheduled for Friday 5 May from 5.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. in Room 3 / CCD South.
The Ucima and Ipack-Ima joint international press conference will also be held on 5 May and will feature the presentation of the next edition of Ipack-Ima, scheduled to take place in Milan from 27 to 30 May 2025. The event will include an in-depth analysis of packaging and processing trends by a large panel of international speakers. The press conference will be held on Friday 5 May at 10.30 a.m. in Exhibition Hall 10 – Room 10.1.
